Tune of the Week: Jack Lukeman – The Great Wall of China

Here’s a fact for the day: Jack Lukeman, once refered to as Jack L, has one of the strongest and most unique voices in the country.

Although he has been around for years he has mellowed just below the fold with his Nick Cave and Jazz era inspired sounds and deep, masterful voice. Following on from his impeccably successful tour and album “27 Club” in which he paid tribute to those that had lost their lives at age 27 including Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse.

He is back with his own stuff now with a new EP which is beautiful and theatrical, once again setting him a part from other Irish singers.

This week’s Tune of The Week is the title track from that  EP; a smooth and atmospheric track.  Enjoy.
